Hobonichi Techo Cover - Unosodo: Bijutsukai (Ferry) (A6)

This composition pictures a bird's-eye view of a ferry, with the impression of a breeze blowing through. This design was selected from Bijutsukai, a collection of craft designs that was published in the Meiji era. (Late 1800s to early 1900s). The rhythmical arrangement of boats and flowers gives it fresh new life. It has "butterfly stopper"
pen holders, which also function as a clasp to keep the cover shut.
